Simplifying the Patent Process

Stellar Patent® with you and your team through the complex patenting process. We break down the patenting process into a series of simple to understand steps and tailor the patenting strategy to your business objectives.

Stellar Patent® allows you to perform as much or as little of the patenting work as you desire. Stellar Patent supports you through out the patenting process and can engage with you in a manner that best supports your patenting goals.

Services

Patenting done for you

Patenting Done for You

Stellar Patent® can perform all the patenting work for you (legal term is patent preparation and prosecution).

For preparing a new patent application, once the formalities are setup, we will perform an inventor interview to understand your invention, work with you collaboratively as we draft your patent application, and once the patent application accurately describes your invention, we will file the patent application on your behalf with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

When working with the USPTO, we will work collaboratively with you to address the issues raised by the USPTO in a manner that helps you achieve your goals.

This is the ideal solution if you have limited time to work on protecting your invention, do not have the desire to be closely involved in the patenting process, or have a robust budget to hand off the patenting work.

Stellar plus you

Stellar + You

Stellar Patent® can work collaboratively with you where we jointly work on the patenting together. You can choose which patenting tasks you perform and which of the patenting tasks we perform. This allows you to reduce the patenting cost.

If you choose, you can invest the cost savings into better patents. With Stellar Patent®, you can switch at any time to Stellar Patent® performing additional patenting tasks.

For an example of patent collaboration, Stellar Patent® can train you on patents, you can create a provisional patent application, and we can analyze your patent application for major legal or technical issues. If there are changes, Stellar Patent® can make the edits or recommend edits.

This is the ideal solution if you want to be more involved in the patenting process or want to optimize your budget.

Patent training

Patent Training

Stellar Patent® can train you to handle part or the entire patenting process yourself.

If are working with a patent professional (i.e., a patent attorney or patent agent), our patent training can enable you to work more effectively with your patent professional.

This is the ideal solution if you have a desire to learn more about patents or if you do not have a large patent budget (e.g., want to protect your invention as you seek funding for your invention).
